Who Pays for Hospice Care?

Medicare, Medicaid and the VA have special Hospice benefits for people who qualify for Hospice Care. Many insurance companies may also cover these services in a comprehensive benefit.

Family Hospice of Belleville is a not-for-profit organization that provide professional hospice services. Services are based on patient needs and not their ability to pay.

Family Hospice is committed to be a viable choice in the community and will seek reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid, VA and private insurance. Family Hospice will accept payment from these sources as payment in full.

From time to time, patients and families may have to file paperwork in order to qualify for some benefits that will cover hospice care. The hospice team will assist with this.
