Almost 30 Years of Service

Family Hospice is approaching it’s 30th year of operation. That in itself is an accomplishment, but to do that with the number of  hospice programs that  seem to be popping up all around southern Illinois is  incredible.  The First Hospice Program in the Metropolitan area was started in 1978 at Lutheran Medical Center and it is gone, absorbed by a large for profit chain that focuses on a myriad of  services causing the hospice program to lose its  autonomy.

Tree of Memories Campaign

The Family Hospice Annual Tree of Memories Campaign will begin its 27th year this holiday season. As a community based not-for-profit, we continue to see an increasing number of families needing our services.

TREE OF MEMORIES

In supporting our Tree of Memories program through the holiday season, we make ornaments available at our kiosk at St. Clair Square from November 30 through December 22.
