Improving the quality of life as you face terminal illness

Family Hospice brings compassionate, professional care to individuals experiencing a terminal illness. We assist individuals in the communities we serve find meaning in the dying process by providing hospice care not just for the end of life but for all of life.

Family Hospice is a non-profit, independent healthcare organization that helps guide patients and families through their journey, providing professional care, medications, equipment, supplies and many other support services. What is Hospice Care?

Hospice is a program of services that provides comfort and care to patients who choose supportive treatments to treat their terminal illness when their disease is incurable.

Who Pays for Hospice Care?

Medicare, Medicaid and the VA have special Hospice benefits for people who qualify for Hospice Care. Many insurance companies may also cover these services in a comprehensive benefit.

How To Enroll in Hospice Care…

Calling our office at 618-277-1800 is the first step in the enrollment process. We will contact your physician in order to receive medical information to determine if you qualify under Medicare Guidelines.

TREE OF MEMORIES

In supporting our Tree of Memories program through the holiday season, we make ornaments available at our kiosk at St. Clair Square from November 30 through December 22.
