Family Hospice is a not-for-profit, Medicare certified, community based hospice providing services and support to patients, families and caregivers living in St. Clair, Madison, Clinton, Washington, Monroe and Randolph counties in Illinois. Family Hospice began providing services to patients and families at home, in nursing facilities and hospitals in August of 1991.
The mission of Family Hospice is to improve the quality of a person’s life by reducing physical, emotional and spiritual suffering experienced by the person and their families as they face a terminal disease. Our staff is focused on pain and symptom management, emotional support and spiritual affirmation using our experiences and resources to promote comfort and dignity through this final stage of living.
