Family Hospice Leadership
Matt Brauss RN, CHPN is the Executive Director of Family Hospice with over 30 years experience in Hospice. He has served in several state and local committees to advocate for better end of life care, meeting with government officials, church leaders and community service organizations to help identify the needs of the terminally ill and resources for care.
Stephen Raben MD, FAAFP, DABHPM is Board Certified in Palliative and Hospice Care and provides administrative and medical oversight for Family Hospice for over 20 years. His participation and input with the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team improves access to a quality program and assures patients receive the right care at the right time. He meets with the staff to review patients’ condition and provides expertise in pain and symptom management.
Linda Lanham, RN is the Patient Care Coordinator for Family Hospice. Linda has been a registered nurse for 30 years and has worked in hospice for 8 years. Linda has responsibility for the clinical care of each patient. In addition to clinical oversight, she provides inservice education for staff, volunteers, community organizations, nursing home staff and others wanting to learn more about end of life care.
An all volunteer Board of Directors governs the activity of Family Hospice. They establish the Mission Statement, Code of Conduct, annual goals and approve budgets to ensure patients and families are satisfied in their decision to choose Family Hospice.
